Join us on a fun interactive tasting adventure exploring the flavours of Far North Queensland with a Cairns Cocktail Masterclass and a guided gin and craft beer tasting. Visit two local venues, a microbrewery and gin distillery located in the heart of Cairns, with food and drinks included on this private tasting tour.

Start the day with a guided gin tasting, where you will learn about your key ingredients, followed by a 2-hour, interactive gin cocktail masterclass under the guidance of the expert bartender at the local Cairns distillery. You will learn how the the distillery started, their award-winning gins and then get step-by-step instruction on how to make your own gin cocktails. Best of all, you then get to enjoy the results of your hard work.

Explore a funky range of craft beers

After shaking up a storm your adventure continues to a local microbrewery where you will enjoy a craft beer tasting and lunch with a view. Hear about the different styles of beer, how the biggest brewery in Cairns came about and a bit about the beer making process at Hemingways Brewery. It’s a tough choice, but you now have to choose your paddle consisting of five beer samples from the tap range.

Custom Cairns Day Tours

This package is available for private group bookings of 6+ (surcharge applies to smaller groups) and is ideal for a group of friends or special event like a hens party.

The tour is available to start between 10 – 2pm with the order of the activities subject to the schedule of the distillery and start time of the tour. As this is a private tour we can customise the day to suit, subject to day, opening hours and availability of the distillery and brewery.

Sometimes unexpected things happen, weather conditions, one of the venues is closed unexpectedly, the beers aren’t cold enough or one of the distillers happens to have a day off, so the above itinerary is subject to change. Should this be the case all effort will be made to suggest a suitable alternative.

Terms & Conditions – Private & Group bookings

    1. To confirm a booking we require a $300 non-refundable deposit.
    2. Final numbers must be confirmed 10 days before the travel date.
    3. Price quoted is subject to change in case of date changes or decrease in numbers.
    4. Full payment is required 10 days from the travel date. If booking inside 10 days full payment is required at the time of booking.
    5. No refunds inside of 10 days from the date of travel.
    6. If you cancel your booking your booking between 11 – 21 days, 30% of the tour cost per person applies; more than 21 days, full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
    7. COVID POLICY: If we cannot run tours due to Queensland Government mandates, lockdowns or restrictions a full refund will be provided. If however you or another member of your group cannot participate due to illness or self-isolation the standard cancellation policy will apply.
    8. Where transport is included food & beverages are not to be consumed on the bus at any time without prior approval.
    9. Smoking is not permitted on the bus at any time.
    10. If the bus is left in a state where cleaning is required e.g. vomiting, stains, liquid or food spills, a $200 cleaning fee will be charged.
    11. All participants should be 18+ and bring valid ID’s.
    12. The tour itinerary is subject to change at any time. Possible causes for change are unpredictable forces such as weather, heavy traffic, unforeseen venue closures, bookings or events. Whilst changes like this are very rare we do reserve the right to make necessary changes. All effort will be made to offer an alternative stop or venue offering the same inclusions.
    13. You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
